In the three-phase development project, the student team carried out the product’s clinical laboratory research, user testing, and a life cycle analysis of the product’s environmental effects. Cooperation proved to be useful, and was carried on also after the project.

To support the commercialisation of a butterfly feeder, the multidisciplinary student team collected information on butterfly behaviour, factors related to environmental legislation, product advertising and marketing. Later on, the product has won several internationally recognised awards.
